The strains we used are excellent indigenous soybean rhizobia. Soybean rhizobia are symbiotic bacteria that form nodules on the roots of soybean plants. These bacteria have a mutualistic relationship with soybeans, providing the plant with fixed nitrogen in exchange for carbohydrates and a suitable growing environment. The presence of soybean rhizobia benefits the plant, as it allows for the efficient uptake of nitrogen from the atmosphere and promotes plant growth and development.
